No crowded pool

Boring info below...
Yesterday's swim, I came out feeling good! Especially, after hubby said "You looked so strong in there". Ahhh... Love the compliment. I've been putting a lot of work into it and still haven't seemed like it's working. I do know I've improved, but know I have a long way to go as well. Keep on keepin' on. David and I started out swimming in the same lane, but I moved over - cause I didn't want to be in his way with him doing speed work and all...

I did my usual 500yd swim timed (14:49)
1:00 rest
250yds pull buoy
100yds kicking drills (kickboard)
100yds Sprint (1st time doing sprints)
50yds cooldown

Total swim time 31:36 (1000yds)

I've heard and read about how every 4 wks, you should take your training down a notch. Even though it's been longer than that since I've mellowed out for a week, I decided this week is it. Sunday, I start Marathon training and I want to start fresh. Therefore, no speed work this week for me because for the next many months I will be doing it every week.

Later tater's

So Sunday is the day!!!! Although weeks of training can be hard you will look back and realize that is the best part of the entire experience. Your group will help keep things fresh. Just enjoy.

You are only a MARATHON VIRGIN once you know.
