2 - Today

When the clock went off (yet, 2 mornings in a row) this morning - I was tempted to keep sleeping. But, I've noticed the earlier I get my run in, the less opportunity I have to make excuses for not doing it, and I can do chores/class work in the evenings more. And, we all know about the heat/humidity these days - I know we're all experiencing it. However, I am probably more of a wimp than most of you in running in the heat. Yes, I know - especially Chad and Lisa. After all, y'all live in the desert.

Boring workouts as follows:

6 Miles
Run was nice this morning. It was way better than my long run this past weekend, of just 1 extra mile than this morning. I don't know why. I'm trying to figure it all out. In the meantime, I'm just taking it one run at a time.

Swim - 500yds - 13:55
Finally got back over to the pool today after work, since I worked during lunch. I slacked last week and only made it over once.

This week had been a little less busy - but I'm still feeling a bit overwhelmed. Class will be over in a little over a week, so that will be one item off my plate, but work is still ramping up quite a bit, and of course, running is too, plus David's training as well. We're doing great at working around each other's schedule so far. Hopefully, we'll have a nice relaxing weekend.

Heyyy!! My marathon training is all over the map. I am doing my long run tomorrow so I am not doing while on vacation. I did my long run last weekend on Monday in Boston. HA!

oooohhh the flowers. They are from my new beau of about a month. I have kept him out of Blogland to avoid jinxing it but this one seems legit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot stop smiling :) We had a 40 hour marathon date last weekend :)

A few more days of getting up early, and this will become a habit for you. Way to go, and keep up the progress and attitude!

(now, if I can just get you on the bike to prep for the tri next month...)

Is it just me? Or is that 500 yd swim time getting shorter and short? Nice job on the run! When you need to have fun, ditch the Garmin/watch!!!

Great job on the swim!! Maybe in the morning I will try to even swim 500 yds. Nah..that is just too hard. LOL

Man, I hate morning wake ups. Great job getting up!!! I am supposed to be up at 6 tomorrow for swimming...we shall see!

BTW, we were all January 04. :>) The whole board fell apart due to drama though. I don't think it's a good idea to have that many pregnant women trying to have internet conversations. Good times...good times...LOL

Before you know it, we'll have you up at 4:30am getting those runs in :P I'm still struggling with it. Probably because I'm so inconsistent.

You're doing fabulous chica!! ;D ;D ;D Keep up the good work!!! Here's to a nice relaxing weekend ahead!!

Good job juggling all of those things...but David is right. You might need to get on that bike a few times.
